As a former Deputy Counsel at the Secretariat of the International Court of Arbitration of the ICC, Mr. Grion has supervised over a hundred international arbitration cases in English, Spanish, French and Portuguese. As counsel, he has handled arbitration cases before virtually every major arbitration institution, including the ICC and other leading arbitration centers in Brazil and abroad. He also seats regularly as arbitrator in commercial arbitrations. Subjects of these arbitrations have included international sales and distribution contracts, construction, mining, M&A and electricity-related disputes. He also represents Brazilian and international clients in litigation in Brazil involving disputes over the enforcement of arbitral awards and arbitration agreements, as well as other transnational disputes. He is a guest lecturer (post-graduate level) in international arbitration at the Fundação Getúlio Vargas in São Paulo (GVlaw) and at the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (COGEAE). He participated in the Task Force on the Revision of the ICC Rules of Arbitration (2012 edition).
