Recent matters include the following:; counsel to one of the world’s leading communications groups in Europe’s largest telecoms arbitration arbitrations relating to an investment worth in excess of €2 billion.; Counsel to a major Central European energy company in an arbitration relating to contract disputes valued in excess of € 200 million.; Counsel to a Eastern European engineering company relating to a major construction dispute; Counsel to a foreign investor in connection with a dispute with the domestic state privatisation agency; Counsel to descendents of the expropriated in connection with proceedings aimed at restitution of world famous Klimt painting; Chairman of an arbitration tribunal in a multi million dollar dispute between the local and the foreign shareholder of a Central European manufacturing enterprise;
Author of various books and articles; Co-Editor Austrian Yearbook of international Arbitration, frequently lectures in the field of arbitration and ADR.
