Arbitration Experience: 

Mr. Abdul Rashid was appointed arbitrator with two others in a claim between a Hong Kong company and a Thai company involving US$20 million over the television rights of the Asian Tennis Federation and an award was written in this case ARB No 086 of 2006.

Mr. Abdul Rashid was appointed sole arbitrator by the Singapore International Arbitration Court. The issue was on an employee of an insurance broking firm who went to join another insurance broking firm and took a number of their clients along with her, which was against the clause in her original contract. An award on this case ARB No 141 of 2012 was published on 30 April 2013.
