Appointed regularly as mediator, conciliator, adjudicator, dispute board member and arbitrator in Hong Kong, China and in other countries in Asia since 1985 relating to disputes between parties from Asia, Europe, North America and Australia. Arbitrations have included disputes relating to civil engineering works; building construction; electrical & mechanical installations;
dredging; the commodity trade (iron ore/steel/coal/cotton yarn/soya bean meal); loan agreements; distribution agreements, guarantees, joint ventures, aviation; shipping; and international trade.
Parties have been from various parts of Asia including, Dubai, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Mainland China, Singapore, Philippines, Taiwan and Thailand as well as parties from North America, Europe and Australasia. Appointed as chair of a tribunal of three arbitrators and as sole arbitrator by the ICC. Appointed by CIETAC on several occasions.
