MR. TODD WEILER: Well, thanks very much everybody for coming to our next session on the 15th annual International Investment Arbitration conference, run by Juris. And we’re very happy that you’re all here. And the reason that I mentioned moot probably was because Ms. Sabine Konrad, well known for her hard work as a moot extraordinary entrepreneur shall we call her, is our moderator today, and I will say nothing else. With no further ado, please, Sabine start.

MS. SABINE KONRAD: Thank you very much, everyone, very welcome. Obviously, we are missing seeing you in person and hopefully that will be possible in a couple of months from now, all fingers crossed. I remember very fondly having to drive back from a Juris conference into a stormfront because Lufthansa had canceled all flights. And I managed to get home at midnight with an Italian rented car from Amsterdam, except that I also got a speeding ticket for being 5km over the limit for 15 Euros, which because it was an Italian car cost me about 120 in administration costs, because the ticket was traveling halfway through Europe. So there’s no risk for speeding now, sadly, and also no risk for drinks. And by the way, no DUIs here. But so, let’s just get started with Lizzie Chan, who will give her position on whether or not COVID should play a role in valuing expropriated property. Lizzie is with Three Crowns in Hong Kong and speaks English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. But her talk I think is going to be in English today. At least we hope. Lizzie over to you.
