1. On 23 May 2012, the European Center for Constitutional and Human Rights (“ECCHR”) and four indigenous communities of Zimbabwe (the “indigenous communities”) (together, the “Petitioners”) filed a Petition for leave to make submissions as amicus curiae in these conjoined arbitral proceedings (the “Application”) pursuant to Rule 37(2) of the Rules of Procedure for Arbitration Proceedings (the “Rules”).
